Rachel provides external course moderation and quality assurance. This helps us to ensure our courses, assignments & assessments are designed, validated & marked fairly & impartially. Rachel is a highly qualified expert moderator with a background in developing, leading & teaching Animal Management courses & has a Certificate in Education & Teaching. Rachel's role within PACT will include marking assignments, moderating practical assessments, managing theory assessments, reviewing course content & dealing with complaints.

Her role is to remain impartial and oversee our teaching, coaching & assessing - think of her as our OFSTED! Rachel marks all assignments and theory assessments, along with auditing & moderating a selection of practical assessments from each student group. This type of external validation and moderation is standard practice in academia and we consider it to be an important step forward for the quality assurance processes within PACT.
