Wellbeing Support

I have a passion for human mental health and wellbeing guided by personal experiences of having a hidden disability, therapy and training in Psychotherapy. I love working compassionately with others and understanding their experiences. I believe this is also translated into how I am with animals and clients, as I come to the role as a full PACT Member and registered Animal Training Instructor (ATI)) and I have also recently completed the Canine Behaviour Technician course with PACT.

My undergraduate degree is in Neuroscience, and since then I have undergone training in Psychotherapy as well as partial training on a Veterinary Science course working with a wide range of people (and animals). These experiences have given me good insights into not just the animal components of training and behaviour but the human mental wellbeing and communication working with other humans (both clients and professionals)!

I studied for 2yrs on an MSc Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute, achieving a Merit each year. During this time I worked as a volunteer counsellor for Mind, working with a diverse client base from a wide range of backgrounds. Working as a Placement Coordinator for a counselling and psychotherapy training institute, I also supported students who were struggling with their placement or just needed a supportive listening ear. I am passionate about facilitating safe spaces, welcoming people with empathy and unconditional positive regard, where people feel heard, seen and they can express themselves freely. I can’t wait to help support PACT students and members by providing wellbeing sessions that are inclusive, supportive and safe!
