Amber Batson is a vet and behaviourist and founder of Understand Animals, UK.
Amber graduated from the Royal Vet College, London in 1999 and has worked in clinical vet practice every since. She became fascinated by the links between behaviour and health within the first year after graduation and has undertaken a number of behaviour qualifications since. Understand Animals was set up in 2007 to provide a bridge between current science and its practical application to help animals in their lives alongside people. Amber teaches both professionals and pet guardians as well as working in vet practice and as a legal expert witness in welfare cases.
